Preparing your questions before a school meeting

Published:

A simple approach to organizing your thoughts so you leave a meeting with clarity.

Meetings with school staff go more smoothly when you know what you want to understand and what you'd like to share.

Before the meeting, write down two or three things you've noticed about your child, and the questions that matter most to you. Bring a notebook, and don't hesitate to ask staff to repeat or clarify a term.

If the meeting is in Hebrew and you'd feel more comfortable with support, it's reasonable to ask in advance whether someone can help with translation, or to bring a trusted person with you.
